Submit Business Licenses
How to Buy Vehicles from Copart
Business Licenses
All Basic and Premier Members, regardless of business licensing status, may bid on No License Required vehicles as long as they have the minimum required deposit and a valid government-issued photo ID on file. Members buying vehicles that don’t require business licenses will have to pay sales tax where applicable.
Members who wish to bid on vehicles that require a business license must either register as a business or use a broker. If you would like to start purchasing vehicles from Copart as a business, below we outline the steps for submitting relevant licenses for members located in the USA as well as international members.
US Members:

Each state has its own requirements for acquiring a business license. View our State Licensing Overview for a general guideline of licensing requirements by state and province.
