Bernie Girard is an auto recycler with Chris Auto Salvage & Recyclers in Texas and has been in the wrecking yard business since 2000. He knows what he wants, and he knows Copart helps him find it. "When I buy on a computer, Copart is the best way. We’ve been buying for the last seven years just out of Copart… if I see one I want, I put it on the Watchlist. I’ll have maybe five or 10 cars on my Watchlist… Sometimes I put pre-bids and I can watch them on my computer."

The Watchlist lets Bernie keep track of the vehicles he’s interested in and also lets him know when the cars are going on sale. After identifying the vehicles he wants to bid on, he visits his local Copart location to inspect the vehicles in person. "If I look on the computer and see something I want, and I want to look at the damage more, I can just come up here and look at it."

He appreciates the high-resolution photos Copart Members have access to when viewing vehicles online. "They give pretty good pictures, and it’s really good on our computer. Both sides, the back, the front, underneath the hood, inside, the mileage and the dash part."

Bernie sums up his experience simply: "Copart’s the best and that’s why, for the last seven years, we’ve only bought out of Copart."
