Finding Vehicles on Copart:

Copart makes searching for vehicles easy and convenient for our Members. Learn more about these great features and start searching today.

Search Toolbar:

The Search Toolbar is the easiest way to begin your search on Copart. Simply enter a description, VIN or Lot Number in the toolbar at the top of any Copart page.

Vehicle Finder:

Copart’s Vehicle Finder allows Members to search through a variety of pre-defined categories:

• Featured Items

• Vehicle Types

• Popular Makes

• Source

• Damage

• Ownership Document Type

• Bid Based

On the right side of the vehicle finder page, you can also custom search for vehicles by a combination of the vehicle’s year range, make, model and location. You can also search by the vehicle’s VIN or Lot Number.

Search Results:

On any Search Results page, refine your search results by utilizing the appropriate filters. Sort your searches as well to suit your preference. Open the photo modals for an enhanced view of the vehicles featuring high quality photo browsing—you can even jump into auction directly from here.

When looking at search results, buyers who plan to export purchased vehicles from the USA must check export restrictions based on the ownership document type before bidding as well as import restrictions in the country they plan to ship the vehicle to.

Sale List:

You can view the entire Sales List of a location’s current, next and future auction dates. Once you are viewing a Sales List, you can sort and filter the results just like a normal search.

Watchlist:

When searching for vehicles, remember to add vehicles to your Watchlist. This is your way of monitoring the sale date, lot number, description and current bid of your vehicles of interest.

Saved Search:

If you have a search you’d like to refer to repeatedly, click on the Save Search button at the top of any search results list. You can then go to your Saved Searches and instantly run a search you’ve previously saved.

Vehicle Alerts:

Copart Vehicle Alerts allow you to receive an email notification based on the type, year range, make and model of the vehicle you’re looking for. Set the alert frequency as daily or weekly, make as many different types of alerts you want and cancel them at any time. You’ll receive an email alert when the vehicle you’re looking for is added to Copart’s inventory.

Copart Mobile App:

All of these tools are also available on the Copart Mobile app. Once on your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet, log in, search for vehicles, add your favorite items to your Watchlist and save your searches. The items you save to your Watchlist via your mobile device are tied to your Copart account, so they will even appear when you sign in on your computer. And it’s the same for Saved Searches too!

CSV Sales Data:

For our Members who prefer to work with spreadsheets, we provide CSV Sales Data for vehicles in upcoming auctions. At this time, this feature is only offered via our website and not our mobile app. Still, it’s a great way to sort vehicle data by lot number, auction times, locations of all lots scheduled for sale and more.
