Some of these are available for free (on select vehicles), and some can be purchased at a competitive rate. You’ll find these options on individual vehicle listing pages as you search used vehicles at Copart.com. In many cases, if you are local, you are welcome to visit the location where the vehicle is stored to inspect it yourself prior to the auction.

Can I bid on used cars in Copart auctions without a business license?
We often get the question: “Can the public buy at your auctions?” The short answer is yes. If you don’t have business licenses, look for the “No License Required” category while you’re searching for vehicles. If you find a used car that requires business licenses, you are welcome to connect with a third-party Broker to help facilitate your purchase. We can provide a list of suggested Brokers.
If you do have business licenses, you’ll submit copies of them during or after registration.
Note: Licensing requirements are set by states and provinces, and not by Copart.
How do I find a used car auction near me?
The benefit of an online auction is that you can bid on vehicles across the nation and have them shipped to a non-residential location near you using our transportation and shipping services (or a third-party transportation vendor of your choosing). If you want a used car near you, however, be sure to customize your searches by ZIP and/or location. Or visit our Copart Locations page and start your search there.
