Freddy Wells, currently with Liberty Truck Sales in Mounds, Oklahoma, has been a Copart Member for over 20 years. Freddy conducts thorough searches to find the right vehicle and make the best purchase possible.

“I come to the sale out here… days before the auction,” says Freddy. “I will look at almost every vehicle they have available in the sale.” From there, he narrows the list to about 20 or 30 vehicles and begins to run some numbers.

“I look up how much it’s going to cost me in parts and how much the labor is going to run,” Freddy says. “I basically break it all down to where I know… exactly what I can get for that vehicle.”

When he’s not out in the yard looking for cars, Freddy likes to use Copart’s Vehicle Finder to pinpoint a particular truck. “I use the filters quite a bit to narrow down my search,” he says. “For instance, if I’m looking for a Chevy half-ton pickup, I can narrow that down by the engine. I can narrow down by four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive. I can narrow it down by the transmission.”

Freddy finds exactly what he’s looking for at Copart, but the staff is what keeps him coming back: “You get that feeling they just really appreciate your business.”
