Copart Brokers
Broker Information
Many vehicles require specific business licenses to buy. That doesn’t mean that Members without the appropriate documentation should rule these vehicles out. That’s why Brokers are here to help.
Whether you’re looking to expand your own inventory, find the perfect project car or even a daily driver, a Broker can help you every step of the way.
Here are some notes about third-party Brokers:
-
Brokers help you purchase vehicles you may not otherwise qualify for.
-
They’re also available to answer questions you may have about the auction process and connect you with transportation services if needed.
-
Some Brokers have a physical location, or storefront, for you to visit.
-
Brokers are independent of Copart. When you use a Broker, you are buying vehicles through the Broker and not Copart.
-
Know the difference between approved and unapproved brokers.
-
Understand why buying from an unapproved Broker is risky.
Brokers can be very helpful in facilitating your vehicle purchase for which you might not have the proper license or documentation. However, not all Brokers are eligible to buy in every state or eligible to bid on every type of vehicle. Most importantly, because you are buying from a Broker and not directly from Copart, you should take extra precaution and only contact Copart-approved Brokers.
