Copart Payment Questions
Common Questions
How and When Do I Get the Titles for the Vehicles I Win in Copart Auctions?
You can monitor the status of your titles and order them shipped to you from the Payments Due page. Select any vehicles with a “Title Ready” status. Our system will ask you to confirm the title shipping order and the address to where you want the titles sent.
Copart charges the following shipping fees:
- Up to 10 for $15 by US Postal Service
- Up to 10 for $20 by FedEx
Our locations charge a processing fee of $20 PER TITLE on all titles picked up in person.
To start getting your titles shipped to you, go to Account Settings, then go into Shipping Documents. Download the Limited Power of Attorney (POA), follow the instructions, then save it. Once the POA is on file, you can choose to automatically have titles shipped to you by selecting the box next to “Automatically Ship Titles” on the same screen.
You can pay for title shipping on the Payments Due page like any other title or service.
Copart cannot ship titles internationally. If you purchased a vehicle through a broker, you’ll need to obtain your title through them.
How can I get tracking data once my title has been shipped?
Once your title(s) have been shipped, you can track the package by going to the Payments Due page. In the far-right column “Title Status,” select “Track” for the vehicle(s) whose title(s) you want to track. A box will open with a tracking code and a link to the tracking page for either the US Postal Service or FedEx, depending on which shipping option you chose.
What if I want my title shipped to a different address?
You can request vehicles titles to be sent to an address other than your default from the Payments Due page. Select the vehicle(s) whose title(s) you want shipped to a different address. Be sure the Title Status in the far-right column says “Title Ready To Be Mailed.”
Select the “Mail Title” option near the top middle of the page. A box will open titled “Request One-Time Address Change for Mail Title.” Enter the address where you want to send the title(s), then select “Select Change Request.”
