Copart COO Sean Eldridge is an exemplary success story for the company. He started more than 30 years ago as a yard laborer and car washer at Copart’s first location in Vallejo, California. As Copart acquired more locations, he worked hard to lead Copart’s operations around the U.S. whenever needed. He transitioned to General Manager and hired and led teams to serve communities in various states. In 2006, Sean moved with his family to help Copart set up operations in the U.K. He focused on Copart and its employees’ needs and interests in every role he held and every decision he made, which led Copart to promote him to various positions in Operations including Regional Manager, Director, Assistant Vice President, and Vice President before becoming the trusted COO of the company in 2014.
